Delivery
Carriage is charged at a flat rate of just £8.00 per consignment for a 2/3 day delivery, or £12.00 next working day, (the cut off time being 12.00 Noon), whether your order value is £1.00 or £1000.00.
We do not deliver Saturdays unless specifically requested to do so, a surcharge will be applied for this service.
Offshore Islands, Parts of Northern Scotland and Northern Ireland may be subjected to delivery surcharges, please ring us before ordering if you reside in these areas. Redeliveries may be charged £10.00, please ensure that you are in to receive the goods on the day of delivery.
Delivery
Our deliveries are made via national carriers or recorded delivery post. It is important to note that as such, all our deliveries require a signature on receipt. If there is nobody at home during the week, then please consider supplying an alternative address, i.e. a neighbours or work address perhaps.
More importantly please ensure you check the delivery thoroughly before signing for the goods, failure to do so prevents us from claiming on our insurance for lost or damaged goods in transit, therefore preventing us from favourably settling any dispute with your goodselves. At the very least please sign "Unchecked".
We aim to deliver all orders within 3 working days, 90% being next day. However we do sometimes run out of stock on certain items, therefore if your requirement is urgent please ring us to confirm stock availability.
Any goods that have been ordered in or manufactured specially against your instruction are unlikely to be accepted for credit. In the event that we do accept these goods for return a handling charge of 20% will apply and possibly carriage charges to cover the cost of return to our source of supply.
Returns
Proton packaging are committed to providing customers with the highest quality products and service. If, for whatever reason you decide to return goods that have been correctly supplied by us, there goods must be returned to us in original condition by you & at your cost, with a photocopy of our original invoice included and an explanation for the return, where upon a full credit less the actual cost to us of sending the goods to you (Please note that this is the actual cost to us not the amount of carriage you were charged, for many orders the carriage charge is subsidised) will be issued. This applies to consumers only, trade customers may also be levied with a 20% handling charge, although this will be at our discretion.
If on the rare occasion, products are found to be faulty, defective or incorrectly supplied against your order , Proton packaging offers a "no charge" collection, repair and delivery service. If we have arranged for a courier collection of your product, we are unable to specify the collection time, and it is your responsibility to ensure that someone will be present when the courier arrives at the collection address.
